Well hello! Back again with a smorgasbord of stuff I’ve eaten (and drank) lately. Part I was so fun to compile, so let’s get to it again.
Just a reminder to follow me over on Instagram for daily eats and drinks.
Here we go…
Flourless Fried Chicken Sandwich from 10 Park Lanes. YES, it’s gluten-free! 10 Park offers a variety of GF items, and this one was my fave.Smoked Country Style Ribs from Brewers at 4001 Yancey. Gotta love a brewery with awesome food! Chef Drew Ward is killin’ it.Strawberry Passion Fruit Sorbet Macaron Sandwich from Amelie’s. The Amelie’s team NAILED this one. So refreshing and perfect. And pretty! From Miles Away by Amanda Britton at Bardo. Everything she does is amazing. This was no different. Contains rum, Campari, passion fruit, tart cherry, and lime.Steak dinner at The Dunavant. This was my birthday dinner in May! You pay $25 for soup or salad, steak + one sauce (I did the gorgonzola crema YUM), and bottomless truffle fries. So much fun.S’mores Brownie from The Batchmaker. Cristina is unbelievably talented, and these brownies are LIFE. CHANGING. Order online or find her shtuff at Groundwork Commons.Puttanesca from Civetta. Great Italian spot that just opened in February.Tempura Green Beans from Habit Burger Grill. This burger joint made its way from California to Charlotte. And brought these dang delicious fried green beans along.Cupcakes from Cupcrazed. The Charlotte location closed a few months ago, but the Fort Mill store is going strong. Had to pay them a visit to get my Cupcrazed fix (I promise it’s not far away at all!)Paella from Bulla Gastrobar. SO pretty and tasty, too. Fun fact: they serve special-edition paellas every Tuesday at Bulla.S’mores shake from CLT Nutrition. LOVE these shakes from this new spot on South Blvd. The combo comes with a shake + energy-boosting tea (all the liquids!) I love them for lunch, but sadly, it’s not enough to keep me as full as a normal lunch. If only.Large Pretzel from Legion Brewing. Can’t go wrong with a soft pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. Definitely recommend bringing a friend or two to tackle this beast.Scallops from Stoke. Chef Chris Coleman really blew me away with all the spring features, but this one was extra stunning. The sweet pea soup and spring veggies were glorious.Morning Buzz from Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen. Love that Chef Alyssa now serves brunch every Saturday in addition to her cooking class line-up. This dish is full of coffee-rubbed short ribs, grits, poached egg, and hazelnut hollandaise. Wow.The 13th from Lincoln’s Haberdashery. Easily my current favorite sandwich in Charlotte. Housemade mozzarella, prosciutto, fresh basil, and EVOO on homemade bread. True bliss. One in a Melon Salad, Obey the Claw Pizza, and Watermelon Hibiscus Lemonade from Gusto Farm to Street. These summer seasonals all hit the spot, and the pizza is easily my favorite Gusto creation to date.Vanilla Cold Brew Slushee from Cuplux. I partnered with my fave coffee spot to give away free slushees for a week in June. Hope you took advantage. 🙂Isola Verde and Margherita Pizzas from Mezzanotte. I’ve eaten at the Poppy’s next to this spot a million times and have never thought to try it until someone gave the recommendation. Excellent pizza!Fried Ice Cream from Seoul Poke Bowl. It’s covered in pound cake and tempura batter then fried and rolled in Fruity Pebbles and Frosted Flakes. UGHHH SO GOOD.BELT from ROOTS Cafe. Cutest brunch spot with an amazing iced caramel latte.Food from Lenny Boy Brewing. They just opened their kitchen in May, and I’m digging the menu. Must try the everything pretzel and this Southern cheese spread.Prime Rib at Sullivan’s Steakhouse. This classic spot serves prime rib every Sunday starting at 4 PM. Get a 12 or 16 oz. cut with horseradish mashed potatoes. Deeeelish! That’s S’more Cheesecake from A Cheesecake Situation. Tell me you don’t want a bite of that. Place your order online any time.Beef Lo Mein from Chuan Wang Fu. Find them inside Umai at Quail Corners, and ask for the red menu if they don’t automatically offer it to you. Sooo good.Spiked Seltzer from NoDa Brewing. I’m all about that spiked seltzer life and love that we now have a local version. Get it on tap at NoDa or buy a few four-packs.
