You Gotta Try the Breakfast Burger for Brunch at Oak Steakhouse

Let’s face it: there is SO MUCH BRUNCH in this city, and I’ll never try it all.

(Mostly because my lazy butt typically prefers a quick/cheap bagel from Poppy’s on weekend mornings instead.)

But I’m SO glad I’ve experienced brunch at Oak Steakhouse because it’s ah-maz-ing.

It took me about .5 seconds to know I wanted to order the Breakfast Burger, but I still admired the rest of the menu. With steaks priced $41+ for dinner, I assumed brunch would cost more than I was used to. So, I was pleasantly surprised to see very affordable options on the menu.

Oak also offers a few brunch cocktails, including a Bloody Mary and Pimm’s Cup. My boyfriend had a French press of Pure Intentions coffee while I sipped on the Irish version.

He had the Biscuit and Gravy Plate (buttermilk biscuit, bacon, eggs your way, pepper gravy, and breakfast potatoes) while I tackled the Breakfast Burger (blend of CAB NY strip, filet mignon, and brisket, topped with grilled onion, white cheddar, bacon, and a sunny side up egg on a brioche bun). THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE. And it’s served with addictive truffle frites that you won’t be able to stop eating, even when you’re full of burger.

Although we were STUFFED, we had to check out Oak’s incredible Creme Brûlée Cheesecake. It had a perfect sugar crust on top, and I very much wish I was eating it again right now.

Soooo have you made your reservation yet?

This post was created after a complimentary meal from Oak Steakhouse. All opinions are my own.
